About this Event
Discover the art of water marbling and decorative lettering in this hands-on workshop. Students will go through the process of water marbling to create interesting effects on paper. They will also have the opportunity to be guided on and practice decorative and artistic lettering with calligraphy pens, brushes, and India Ink. Experimentation with water marbling and decorative lettering.
- All art supplies will be provided.
- Aprons will be provided however it is encouraged that students wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

This workshop will be held at the Orange Hub in Art Studio #105

Class Instructor: Peyton Rockel
Peyton Rockel (she/Her) is a painter and garment artist who has a passion for community and education, specifically art education. Her experience of seeking out community and opportunities in Edmonton, spending time experimenting and creating art, as well as work experience with students as a teacher has led to the confidence and true excitement to work alongside Lorelle to organize and host Young Artist Summer Workshops!
