About this Event
Students will first practice their designs using watercolors and pen. Following this, they'll translate their chosen designs onto denim using the bleaching process. Bring your own denim items or work on provided iron-on patches. Additionally, we'll practice with charcoal to understand shading and depth before applying these techniques to bleach painting.
- All art supplies will be provided.
- Aprons will be provided however it is encouraged that students wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Class Instructor: Peyton Rockel
Peyton Rockel (she/Her) is a painter and garment artist who has a passion for community and education, specifically art education. Her experience of seeking out community and opportunities in Edmonton, spending time experimenting and creating art, as well as work experience with students as a teacher has led to the confidence and true excitement to work alongside Lorelle to organize and host Young Artist Summer Workshops!
