Deb Borema is leading two ‘Youth Sewing Groups’ for students 8 years-old and up every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. at LACA. Participation is $5 per day and requires a monthly commitment. You can register at ludingtonartscenter.org or call LACA at 231-845-2787. Deb learned how to knit and sew from her grandmother. She still has the first doll dress she ever made when she was 9 years-old. Deb has taught craft classes at both LACA and Sandcastles. Some of her projects include rock painting, pom-poms, and potholders.
