Debra Lynn, executive & artistic director of OPERA TODAY!
To honor the centenary of Italian composer Giacomo Puccini, the Youth Orchestras will feature his breathtaking operatic and symphonic music, including the rarely performed Scossa Elettrica Marcetta (Electric Shock March) composed in 1899 as a gift to Alessandro Volta, the inventor of the electric battery. Special guests include vocalists from OPERA TODAY! singing some of Puccini's most loved arias.
The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Orchestras program provides student musicians with an authentic, professional orchestra experience. From classics to pops, enjoy the accomplishments of these young musicians.
