The Bay Port boys varsity basketball program is partnering again this year with DECA (student group at Bay Port) to host youth night for players in grades 3-8. This year’s Youth Night will be on Tuesday December 16th against Green Bay Southwest. This is an optional event, but it is a great opportunity for our younger athletes to be recognized during the varsity basketball game, and help get them excited about Bay Port basketball. Players that attend should wear their Bay Port basketball jerseys and they will get into the game for free. All youth players need to meet near court 4 (the far end of the gym) by 6:45pm, and then they will create a tunnel for the Varsity team to run through. There will be a separate section of the bleachers for all the youth players to sit in. Similar to last year, DECA is coordinating unique opportunities for youth players - 2 of our 5th graders will have the opportunity to be the waterboy on the varsity bench (one in each half), and 2 players from each of our 4 teams will be able to compete in a game of lightning at halftime.
