For young folks ages 12-18, come join EAA Chapter 731 and the West Hickory Aeromodelers as we build and fly a radio-controlled airplane. Each meeting begins at 5:30 on the first and third Tuesday of the month. Food is provided, and parents are welcome to attend as well. Participants will learn about construction techniques, materials and tools, electronics, airplane theory, and of course the basics of flying RC airplanes through computer simulators, and once the plane is complete, actual flights.
