This in-person Youth Mental Health First Aid course is run by Dr A.J. Yates and qualifies you as a Youth Mental Health First Aider. This course is ideal for anyone who lives with, works with, or supports young people aged 8 to 18 and wants to gain the knowledge, awareness, and skills to spot the signs of a young person experiencing poor mental health, the confidence to start a conversation, and the tools to safeguard and signpost to appropriate support. Cost includes the course, all materials, refreshments (excluding lunch) for the two days, certification, and three years' membership with White Dog (quarterly updates, loyalty discounts, and exclusive content on different aspects of physical and mental health), as well as being eligible to join MHFA England's Association of Mental Health First Aiders.
This course is being run in conjunction with local charity the Milton Keynes Safety Centre (Hazard Alley) at a one-time-only price, which is a 70% discount on the RRP of £325 + VAT. Spaces are strictly limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. In order to be eligible for the discounted price, we just ask that you fill in the MHFA England feedback which will be sent electronically after the course.
