The Emory University School of Law Barton Child Law and Policy Center, in partnership with a multi-disciplinary planning committee and funded by Public Welfare Foundation, is pleased to announce a Youth Justice Convening on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

This day-long strategy convening will bring together key stakeholders to shape the future narrative of youth justice in Georgia. The event will cover:
- Data & Research: Explore the latest research and data trends shaping youth justice policies and practices and learn how to build on this information to drive meaningful change.
- Best Practices: Discover innovative strategies and successful models for preventing and responding to youth crime.
- Youth Voices: Hear directly from system-impacted youth as they share their experiences and insights to guide our discussion and shape our strategies for the future.
The convening will conclude with an optional Panelist Meet & Greet, offering a chance to network and discuss the day’s insights further.
