Big Picture Gallery and Studio teams up with Chereal Designs for professional instruction led by Cheryl Weatherford to learn how to make beaded accessories! August's session will begin with the fundamentals of making a wrapped loop for earrings and using a common stringing material, flexwire, to design their own beaded bracelet. The second day, students will wire their own gemstone beads to create a beaded chain bracelet. Finishing the three-day jewelry camp we will learn a Japanese braiding technique, Kumihimo. After camp, students will have the opportunity to take home written instructions for future projects. ******PLEASE NOTE: These camps are open to entering 3rd grade - entering 12th grade.
