NAS Youth Group returns to Forest Cottage on Friday January 9th at 6pm to 8pm.
The youth group is a space to meet other autistic young people. We have card games, arts and crafts and a Nintendo switch available to be involved in and you can do as much or as little as you would like.
To book a place please click the eventbrite link below and book a place for the young person only. Carers/ parents do not need a ticket.

You can also comment on the Facebook link but this is not instead of booking through Eventbrite.
If you are autistic and between the ages 8 to 18 come and join us. Your parent/ carer must attend also and is responsible for you at all times. The session provides an opportunity for friendships to form and to have a fun evening out.
There are 25 places and they will be booked, through Eventbrite, on a first come basis.
A £3 donation per person playing is suggested but not essential. Donations help support the sustainability of our sessions.
Please do email the branch on [email protected], post on the comments thread on the FB post or contact via messenger through the FB page if you would any further information. Details of this event are also on the website calderdalenas.org.uk
The Calderdale Branch is run by volunteers and provides support/activities to families affected by autism. We receive no income from National Autistic Society, everything is funded through fundraising/ donations. We provide activity groups for children plus a support network for parents/carers and autistic adults. Our groups provide a safe environment for children, young people, parents/carers. Volunteers are also involved with statutory organisations as the voice of branch members. Autism is potentially an isolating condition for the whole family. Our groups provide opportunities for friendships and fun, there is always a sense of belonging, something many struggle to achieve.
If you register a place and can then no longer attend this event please either cancel through Eventbrite or send us an email so that we can offer the place to someone else.
