The Leawood Police Department is hosting a Kids Fishing Derby for ages 12 and under at Ironwoods Park (14701 Mission Road). Bring the entire family to this fun, FREE event where children can learn to fish in the lake stocked with a variety of fish. Registration starts at 8:30, fishing is from 9-10, and prizes to follow!Bring your pole! Bobbers and bait will be provided. Light breakfast items will be available.
