Calling all young creators, makers, and budding entrepreneurs!INFO SESSION: October 24, 6 - 7PM, Dillard Room 177 at Midwestern State University
The Youth Entrepreneur Showcase (Y.E.S.) is your chance to dive into the exciting world of business and innovation. Hosted by the Downtown Wichita Falls Farmers Market, this event invites youth aged 6-18 to set up their own booths and showcase their homemade and handmade goods, art, and other unique products.
Y.E.S. is all about sparking creativity, boosting confidence, and providing hands-on entrepreneurial experience in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will learn essential skills such as business planning, marketing, customer service, and financial literacy, all while networking with peers, mentors, and the local business community.
Mentorship from MSU Texas students, small business owners, and community leaders will be tailored to three age groups:
Junior Entrepreneurs (Ages 6-10)
Young Creators (Ages 11-14)
Teen Innovators (Ages 15-18)
Compete for prizes and savings accounts from Texoma Community Credit Union (TCCU) based on creativity and innovation, and leave with valuable business insights and experience. This is more than just a market; it’s an opportunity to empower the next generation of business leaders in Wichita Falls!
