In Partnership with The West Side Chamber of Commerce, Project Exploration, My Chi My Future, and a number of other community organizations, YourPassion1st would like to invite you to Austin's 1st Annual Youth Empowerment Weekend that includes our Festival Youth Summit, & Conference.
FRIDAY AUGUST 12TH 2022
The weekend kicks off at Columbus Park, with a day full of hands-on experiences, performances, a fashion show, art, music, health & wellness, sports tournaments, food, prizes, raffles, hiring opportunities, community resources, and much more...

WE REQUEST THAT ALL ORGANIZATIONS OFFER ONE OF THE BELOW TYPES OF ENGAGEMENT:
1. Explore - Open your doors the day of or set up a booth at our festival to give
young adults an opportunity to dive into unchartered waters across a number of creative
industries.
2. Participate - Offer a real-time hands-on experience that allows young adults to physically interact and engage across a number of creative industries.
3. Learn - Have access to valuable insight and resources to further the knowledge of our youth.
4. Work - Have the ability to start a career right here right now by signing up for a
program/interview.
5. The ability to sell something that day (booth).
6. Testimonial - opportunity to hear from community members on select topics
7. (Storytelling) - Individuals will have the opportunity to hear from like-minded individuals
and be inspired by industry leaders.
SATURDAY AUGUST 13TH
Saturday will start with 100 young adults being bussed to a location TBD, where they will have the opportunity to engage with other young adults through conversation, workshops, and breakouts. This will include a sneaker ball, raffles, fun, games, and more.

Sunday will conclude with brunch and a few final keynote speakers...
