Are you a City of Rochester resident 14 - 20 who is curious about skilled trades? Come meet professionals in the field!
Registration is required - dinner will be provided for all registered youth.
The City of Rochester's Youth Employment Services team is excited to announce the launch of our new InterPLAY Academy. This event will include a panel discussion with trades professionals and networking opportunities with unions and trade companies.
Youth will also be able to apply for one of ten competitive spots. Once accepted into the program, participants will select a specific trade path, such as HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, etc., and complete course hours to earn their certification by the end of 2025.
This initiative is essential for creating opportunities beyond summer programs and promoting alternative pathways for our youth’s future.
