The Injury Clinic Physiotherapists and Strength and Conditioning Coaches have designed a Youth Development School Holiday Program that aims to introduce and expose kids aged 12 to 16 years to a sport and skill specific exercise program.We have become aware of the growing number of adolescents expressing interest in strength and resistance training and have noticed frequent mistakes in generic training programs.
The aim of the program is to help provide education, guidance and opportunities through a variety of gym based and exercise specific techniques that can improve performance and minimise the risk of injury!
How it will run and what to expect:
Each session will consist of various exercises. There will be up to three levels of each specific exercise to cater for participants who have already begun their gym journey and for those that are new to this form of training.
This way, no matter the level of experience, everyone will be able to participate in challenging exercises and drills and gain valuable skills adaptations.
Keeping in mind, each session is closely supervised by our team and conducted in a safe manner.
When: July 1st till 10th
(Mon 1st, Wed 3rd, Fri 5th, Mon 8th, Wed 10th)
Location: The Injury Clinic Gym
Cost: $175 per person for 5 sessions or $40 per session
