About this Event
Are you a young artist eager to explore new mediums? Join our wearable art session, where you’ll learn to repurpose garments and connect with a vibrant creative community.
The textile art-themed sessions will commence in August and September, starting with an introductory session for 11 to 15-year-olds, followed by a second session tailored for 16 to 25-year-olds. These sessions serve as taster events, leading to signing up for longer accredited sessions to follow later in the project.
Here’s what to expect from this planet-friendly, sustainable style workshop:
- Work alongside peers who share your passion. Share ideas, get inspired, and build connections beyond the workshop.
- Work independently, directing your unique creativity and craft art that truly reflects your personal vision. Explore, express, and elevate your artistic identity in each piece you create.
- Express Your Creative Vision: Create wearable art using upcycled materials to bring your ideas to life. This is your chance to make a statement and showcase your skills.
- Prepare for the Future: Gain insights into how art can intersect with environmental consciousness and learn skills that could spark a future career or hobby.
To maximise this session, please prepare an inspiration board on Pinterest and share it with us beforehand!
Refreshments will be available, ensuring you stay energised and ready to create.
These sessions are highly sought after with limited spots available. If you can’t attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.
