Purpose of the Event:
The Women’s Voice and Leadership (WVL) Bangladesh project by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) aims to create a dynamic and inclusive learning space that fosters networking and provides empowering leadership experiences for young girls and transgender individuals. This year's youth conference will showcase the "Community Learning and Experience" gained from the Social Action Projects (SAP) implemented by participants.
Objectives:
- Build Confidence:Promote self-worth among young participants.
- Facilitate Networking: Connect young people with experts.
- Showcase Projects: Highlight social projects by young girls and transgender individuals.
- Recognize Leaders: Appreciate young leaders for their efforts.
Event Highlights:
- Presentations and Workshops: Participants will present their social action projects, sharing their experiences, challenges, and successes. Workshops led by experts will provide additional skills and knowledge to further enhance their leadership capabilities.
- Peer Support and Interaction: Interactive sessions will allow participants to share individual experiences, fostering self-awareness and creating a common understanding among peers.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Young leaders will receive technical assistance and financial support to apply their knowledge at the grassroots level, ensuring the sustainability of their initiatives.
Throughout the two days, participants will learn many things from the amazing sessions, enhancing their knowledge and skills for future social change initiatives.
This conference is not only a celebration of the achievements of young women and transgender individuals but also a stepping stone towards greater leadership and social change. By inspiring these young leaders, the WVL-Bangladesh project aims to inspire a new generation committed to gender equality and the protection of human rights.
