Class Length: 8 weeks, meets 4:30pm-6pm each MondayClass Description: In this fun beginner hand building class, children will learn how to make their own masterpieces with coil, slab, and pinching techniques. This is a great class for ages 6 through 12. Even if your child is more intermediate in their clay-skills, this is still a great class to continue to build upon those skills because there is so much learn! Working with clay helps children develop problem-solving and fine motor skills, and encourages imagination, initiative, and curiosity. This class meets every Monday for eight weeks and the materials fee covers all your child’s clay usage, firings, glaze usage, and tools.
Age Limitations: Ages 6 – 12
Supplies Included: Tuition covers tools, clay, use of studio glazes, all firings, and use of communal tools and equipment.
Supplies Parents should provide for each child: Apron or old shirt to wear, a personal hand towel (We don’t use paper towels here and we don’t do laundry!)
