The Nashville Blues and Roots Alliance is launching its Blues in Schools program on Sunday, December 8th. A Youth Blues Experience Workshop will take place at the historic Elks Lodge on Jefferson Street, the former site of the legendary Club Baron, one of the musical beacons in the heyday of North Nashville's Jefferson Street music scene.
The 2024 winners of the International Blues Challenge, Piper and the Hard Times, will host the event, including a performance, historical education, Q&A, and breakout sessions for various instruments and vocalists.
Come learn about the blues and how to be a touring act from one of the best blues bands in the country!
