About this Event

The Fort Monroe Authority, The Fort Monroe Foundation, Jack and Jill of America's Hampton VA Chapter, and Dominion Power present Youth Black Culture Fest at Fort Monroe on Saturday, February 8, 2025!!!
During this celebration of Black culture and hereitage participants ages 5 to 17 years old will have the opportunity to rotate through a variety of different culural arts stations where they will experience hands on and learn about the heritage and origins of different cultural arts and the Black heritage that influenced them.

Experience hands on cultural and social interactive activities including African Drumming, Dance, Archeology, Geneology, Quilting, Social Justisce, Poetry and more!

The event is open from 11:00am to 5:00pm and each station lasts between 40 and 45 minutes. Participate in as many as you like throughout the day!

The event is free and open to the public but space is limited so sign up early to reserve a space for your young artist!
