3 weeks - class dates: 8/13, 8/20, 9/3 (no class 8/27)
In this 3-week class students will create a wall tapestry on a weaving loom. They will learn the fundamentals of weaving and how to weave using varying thickness of yarn and threads to use for the warp and weft threads. Students will learn how to create various patterns, and have the option to incorporate beads feathers, buttons, etc., for a one-of-a-kind expressive wall tapestry. All materials provided. Students can take home the loom after the last class!
Ages: 9-16 yrs
Cost: $50 pre-pay for 3-week session
