Youth will learn the craft of acting at the Pharr Community Theater in Pharr, TX on Saturday, March 1, 2025.ABOUT:
Are you a middle school or high school student wanting to build confidence in your acting? This is the perfect class to workshop your acting chops!
Each student choose a monologue/scene of their choice that they will perform, with feedback and instruction from Screen Actor Guild performer and Pharr Community Theater Artistic Director, Pedro Garcia.
Be ready to learn what it takes to be be a believable actor on the stage and screen!
COST:

-$30 dollar at the door (upon availability).
WHO THIS CLASS IS FOR:
Youth 12 to 17 can participate in a workshop on Saturday March 1, 2025 from 2pm to 5pm with class limited to first 25 participants. If classes have less than 8 students, class time will end at 4pm.

The workshop is to be held at Pharr Community Theater, 213 W Newcombe Ave. Pharr, TX
INSTRUCTOR INFO:
Pedro Garcia has been an active member of the Screen Actors Guild since 1994. He has directed and acted in over 175 plays & films combined since 1987. He has appeared on Film & TV shows including; Tejano, Queen of the South, Fast & Furious Five, Breaking Bad, Halt & Catch Fire, & Mad Love.
Currently he resides in Pharr, TX and is the Artistic Director for the Pharr Community Theater Co. He also teaches acting classes and is a filmmaking consultant.
