Youth Adoptee Virtual Hangout (Drop In - 4 Weeks)

Youth Adoptee Virtual Hangout is a weekly, drop-in hangout group for youth adoptees 9-12.

This group will run every Wednesday@ 5pm PST/8pm EST starting Febraury 5th, 2025 until February 26th, 2025. Attendance is not required for all 4 meetings, but encouraged.

The purpose of this group is to provide youth adoptees with a safe place to explore topics related to adoption and to provide a space for youth adoptees to connect and be in community with each other.

These groups will be facilitated by Nate Schiffer, Filipino Adoptee and the Holt Adoptee Camp Director & Elliot Bliss, Korean Adoptee and the Adoptee Programs Manager at Holt International.

*This group is free to attend

* Topics that may be explored include but are not limited to: racial and adoptee identity, grief and loss, birth family, adoption file, adoption process, community, microaggressions, racism, mental/behavioral health, etc.
