The Honorable Brent Hagenbuch is Senator for Texas District 30 which encompasses 11 counties in North Texas with a population of over 1 million citizens. Senator Hagenbuch is the Vice-Chair of the Nominations committee and also serves on the Criminal Justice, Education K-16, Veteran Affairs, and Transportation committees.
Outside of elected office he serves as President of Titus Enterprises a several hundred-million-dollar corporation with subsidiaries in transportation, logistics and technology. Brent’s professional background includes strategy and general management roles at McKinsey & Company and PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division as well as the CEO of CompX an international manufacturing company listed on the NYSE.
Hagenbuch holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Masters in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
Hagenbuch served as an officer in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps during the first Gulf War era as Company Commander in Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4, Officer in Charge of Construction at Concord Naval Weapons Station and an instructor at the Civil Engineer Corps Officers School.
Hagenbuch’s community service includes: Board Director of Feed the Children, Member of UNT’s Logistics Institute Advisory Board, LEISD Visionary Committee member, former Chairman of the Board of Amazon Christian Mission, former President of the North Texas Chapter of K-Life youth ministry and former Little Elm City Planning & Zoning Commissioner.
Hagenbuch served as a Republican Precinct Chair and later was elected Chairman of the Denton County Republican Party.
Hagenbuch is married to Jean, his wife of 40 years. They have two children and three grandchildren. The Hagenbuchs are active at Crossridge Church in Little Elm.
