Ever thought about being a pilot? Whether you’re just finishing high school or are looking for a career shift, the path to becoming an aviator is open to you.
Join NSHSS and Purdue University Global for a hands-on career exploration event at Sterling Flight Training in Jacksonville, Florida. Attendees will learn from professional pilots, current flight students, and Certified Flight Instructors about every aspect in training and pursuing a career as a professional pilot.
Be sure to register early for an optional flight experience!
NOTE: This event is open to only the first 200 registrants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so do not delay!

Learning Session - Discover the pathway to earning several flight certificates and ratings that are important and necessary to becoming a professional pilot. You'll hear from airline pilots, Certified Flight Instructors, Purdue University Global aviation faculty and students.
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
(OPTIONAL) Discovery Flight
Discovery Flights are a great way to be introduced into the amazing world of aviation and to assist aspiring pilots in solidifying their ambitions. During this 15-20 minute flight over beautiful Jacksonville, Florida, the front passenger will be able to take control of the aircraft with the supervision of one of our flight instructors, allowing you the exhilarating experience of being a pilot for the first time.

NSHSS Member Recognition Ceremony
Hear final thoughts of inspiration from closing speakers. All members will receive an honor medallion for their academic achievements.

NSHSS has secured discounted rooms ($129/night) at the Marriot Courtyard Jacksonville. You can secure your room here. It is first come first serve.
All NSHSS event attendees will be required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. This requirement applies even if you are fully vaccinated. Masks are not required when food and beverage are being consumed in designated areas, or when speaking/presenting in an official capacity the event.
