'Your Light' Lantern Walk

Welcome to 'Your Light' Lantern Walk!

We will share a cozy evening of making lanters that frame fall leaves and highlight how peace, joy, self expression, and self-determination are acts of courage and defiance in the face of domestic violence. Choral voices will remind us of the many loved ones currently experiencing abuse and honor the endurance of those of us healing from emotionlly, physically, sexually, and/or financially controling relationships. 'Your Light' Night balances the bittersweetness of life and holds space for all ages and levels of understading domestic violence. A colouring table will be set up for young ones, a written reflection table for adults, and comfortable chairs for resting and listening to music. Lanterns and warm drinks are by donation. 'Your Light' Night is rain or shine; the walk will be shortened in poor weather, the meeting and reception will be warm and dry in the Angst Hall atrium.
