- How to treat them using granule bait, direct injection and barrier hay storage solutions.
Cattle Nutrition- what and how to feed them during the dry months with Rob Inglis, Elders Animal Nutritionist.
- What to feed cattle coming into the dry, cold and frosty months.
- How to ensure they receive the right nutrition for optimal health.
Your Land Your Future will be held at the Kalbar School of Arts Hall, 9am-12pm, with a free morning tea and barbecue lunch to follow.
Kalbar Progress Association President, Wilson Neuendorf, said the seminar was specially tailored to provide localised advice and information and would be especially helpful for those new to the area.
“We have a long and proud tradition of farming in the Kalbar area, and we’ve welcomed a number of new graziers and growers in recent years,” Mr Neuendorf said.
“This is a terrific opportunity for them to increase their knowledge of what works best locally when it comes to crops and livestock, and to connect with local experts.
“It will also be a chance for established local farmers to update their knowledge of best practice.”
