Your Fearless Leader (YFL) is an indie rock band from San Francisco, California. The band consists of members Marcus Ghiasi (Guitar, Vocals), Jerry Haagsma (Drums), Alan Fineberg (Bass, Synthesizer), Aldo Jimenez (Saxophone), and Hannah Glass (Violin). Founded in 2015 by multi-instrumentalist Marcus Ghiasi, Your Fearless Leader came into prominence with the release of their debut EP, Retrospection. In 2018 YFL released back-to-back EPs entitled Rites and Call My Name. Their widespread embrace allowed YFL to cement their place as one of the Bay Area’s most recognized indie rock bands. In 2020, the band released two new singles, Lime and To Hell with That. Your Fearless Leader pushes the boundaries of the traditional rock band outfit and is continuously evolving from its starting point of baroque pop and indie rock. The band's sound is a mix of rhythmic, harmonized guitar with shifting, interlocking drum and bass patterns, sweeping violin and commanding brass, all embraced by vocals wrought with personal and collective experiences. https://yourfearlessleader.bandcamp.com/
Analog Dog makes genre fluid music in San Francisco, USA. Hailing from all corners of the country, the band came together in and around the hallowed musical breeding grounds of Golden Gate Park. With each member drawing on diverse inspirations and musical backgrounds, from self-taught to classically trained, they unite over a common love for genre-bending composition and improvisation. Rosie Plaza first formed when former college roommates, Angel Ibarra (bass) and Nick Musni (guitar/vocals) reunited in the Bay Area to complete teacher credentialing programs in the spring of 2015. After writing and searching for percussionists for over a year, they finally recruited drummer and skilled sound engineer, Russ Arteaga--a former coworker and parent of one of Nick’s first students. Based in Oakland, CA, the trio has developed a highly original sound that shifts between 90s to mid-aughts indie rock and 80s post-punk. Complete with angular guitar lines, and driving bass and drums, Rosie Plaza writes songs that are at the same time poignantly sentimental and nostalgically angsty. https://rosieplaza.com/
