Join our zoo rangers for a full day in the zoo with some hands-on experience of what it’s like to work here at Chester Zoo 🐧🦋Our animal and plant teams in the zoo have a busy day with lots of habitats to maintain and animals to care for, so expect the day to be quite physical and fast-paced 🏃

Young people aged 14 – 17 years.
What is included? 💡
A whole day of fun activities in the zoo from 8:30am – 4pm. Please note lunch is not included.
A typical day may look like this 👇
8.30am: Arrival
8.30 - 9am: Introductions and kit up
9 - 10am: Elephant husbandry routine
10.15 - 10.45am: Careers session and Q&A
11 - 11.45am: Introduction to horticulture
12 -12.45pm: Animal enrichment making
1 - 1.30pm: Lunch break
1.45 - 2.45pm: Mucking out animal habitats
3 - 3.45pm: Visit to amphibian pods
