Writing activities and experiences will include:
- nature journaling and sketching
- outdoor exploration and hiking
- revision through collaboration
- a variety of types of writing: narrative, descriptive, expository, & poetry
- native plants and ecosystems
- use of field guides (plants/animals)
- nature vocabulary development
