Explore the fascinating history of Long Island through the treasures of the Long Island Collection at East Hampton Library! Middle schoolers will get an up-close look at incredible artifacts like pirate treasure from Captain Kidd and a whale's tooth, learn about the secretive Culper Spy Ring, and uncover historic videos using the LTV database. You’ll also discover how to navigate the Digital Long Island database to find documents, photos, and more. As an Ambassador, you’ll help spread the word about this amazing collection and earn community service hours while connecting with local history in a hands-on way!
