Dear friends,
Gerard Heroux’s opera "Young Roger's Day at the Fair" will be performed at URI Fine Arts Concert Hall, 105 Upper College Rd., Kingston RI 02881 as part of the URI Music Department's "University Artist Series." There'll be two shows - Friday Jan 30th at 7pm and Sunday Feb 1st at 3pm.
The proceeds from ticket sales partially go towards student scholarships for the URI Music Dept.

Encore Opera Company (an RI tax exempt non-profit organization) is helping me produce the opera - which is about Roger Williams as a young boy wandering a summertime fair his home town of Smithfield, England. We have a fantastic team of singers, instrumentalists and production staff, with Rene De la Garza as director and Luis Víquez leading the orchestra.
