This course uses up-to-date research and draws on clinical experience to give professionals new knowledge and skills, empowering them to undertake accurate assessments and to work in complex family situations more effectively This course is aimed at professionals from any discipline who work with sex offenders. The content is particularly relevant for those engaged in risk assessments, intervention programs, investigation and/or risk management.
The course is also an elective for CCBC certificate course.

What's the refund policy and is my ticket transferrable?
If you register for the course and cannot attend, you must notify of your cancellation via email. The deadline to cancel is January 21, 2024. You can substitute another attendee in place of your registration, but there will be no refunds after that date.
How do I register a group?
Choose register then group then "Create Group" and enter your organization name. Then register and choose the number of registrants in your group and checkout. Enter the buyer information at the top and below you can enter information for each registrant.
Where is parking if I am driving in daily?
You can park at the hotel or for much cheaper parking you can park in the municipal lot behind the naval academy stadium and take the shuttle ( short hop) or walk - about 10 minutes or minutes by shuttle $5.00
About the Presenter:
Dr. Sullivan is a Registered Forensic Psychologist (Health Professions Council) . He holds a PhD in Forensic Psychology, a Masters Degree in Criminology, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Social Sciences and a Certificate of Qualification in Social Work. Dr. Sullivan is an honorary lecturer in Forensic Psychology at the University of Birmingham, UK. For the past 20 years, Dr. Sullivan has worked with police officers, social workers, probation officers, faith groups and educationalists to provide insights into the motivations, thoughts and behaviors of child sex offenders. Dr Sullivan has worked extensively in law enforcement since 1996, assisting UK and European police forces with investigations into the sexually motivated abduction, M**der and assault of children
