This is a 'come and try' fishing event for children and young people. We are offering this event in response to early feedback from children, young people and parents about their play and recreation activities in Jarrow. This is an engagement activity as part of a research project looking into the sufficiency of facilities and opportunities for children and young people to play in Jarrow.Parents of young children (under 11) should supervise their children while attending the activity. Instruction and support will be provided to have a go. We have some equipment for use but this may not be suitable for younger children (parents can of course assist).
