Young Guns Drawing Club

Join a community of creatives in this weekly workshop, led by a master's-level illustrator passionate about sketchbooks and hands-on drawing. Enjoy a fun, stress-free space focused on drawing, collage, and creative exploration. Each session introduces key sketchbook concepts, new materials, artists, and critical thinking skills to help you level up your artistic process in a sustainable, thematic way.

Info: Arrive and set up your drawing space. Grab your materials—pens, paper, and any other supplies. Take a few moments to get comfortable and ready to dive into the creative process.

Info: Welcome to the club! I’ll introduce the class theme for the day, what to expect, and the goals for the session. We’ll talk about the techniques we’ll explore and set the tone for a fun, low-pressure environment. PLEASE NOTE: we'll be starting right at 5pm so be prepared to dive right in!

Info: We’ll begin with model drawing based on the day's assignment. Poses will vary in time depending on the theme, giving you space to experiment and explore. Breaks will be included between sets to reflect and reset.

Info: We’ll wrap up with a group sharing session where everyone presents their work. We’ll discuss the process, challenges, and insights gained from the evening’s drawings. It’s a time to celebrate progress, ask questions, and offer feedback in a supportive setting.

Info: This is your chance for more one-on-one feedback. We’ll discuss potential directions for your work, offer constructive criticism, and explore areas for improvement. If you’ve been working on something outside of class, bring it along and we’ll dive into any questions or ideas you have for growth.
