About this Event
Following the huge success of the Christmas treecycling partnership between Young Farmers and Sue Ryder since 2021, our Christmas treecycling service is back for 2024! So let Young Farmers save you the hassle of getting rid of your Christmas tree, in exchange for a donation.
This year teams from Yorkshire Young Farmers in Settle and Craven will be collecting trees in the BB18, BD24 LA2 and LA6 postcode area with half the proceeds going to Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. In all areas that we collect, half of the proceeds will go to support the vital care that Sue Ryder provides in our local area and the other 50% of the funds are going to the charitable works of Yorkshire Young Farmers.
All trees will be recycled so there is an environmental benefit to the project too.
As some of the teams will be collecting with large vans and vehicles with trailers we ask that people don't sign up if they live in hard to reach areas down narrow tracks with no turning room.
