About this Event
Wild Bunch is ecobirmingham's popular forest school programme.
Following a phenomenal first session in August, we're calling all young nature explorers aged 12-15 to return and join us at Birmingham Settlement's fantastic Nature & Wellbeing Centre by the Edgbaston Reservoir for another unique day spent close to nature, the Young Bunch!
Expect more active games, wood work using a variety of tools safely, and a space where young people can discuss environmental issues and inspire others.
We'll also cook a healthy, vegetarian lunch together on the campfire!
Groups are kept small for everyone to feel comfortable. Activities are developped with young people aged 12-15 in mind and the day is young people-led, with the support of two experienced, DBS-checked forest school practitioners and volunteers.
Please note this activity is for young people only (sorry grown-ups!).
The day will take place at Birmingham Settlement's Nature & Wellbeing Centre, 79 Selwyn Road, B16 0SL on Wednesday 29th October 2025 from 10am-4pm.
Lunch and snacks will be provided but please remember to let us know any dietary requirements and allergies when you complete your online registration form.
All ticket types are pay what you can. A place on our Young Bunch programme usually costs £30 per child per day, but we want carers to feel comfortable paying what they feel they can afford. Please be mindful that tickets will need to be reserved for each child and Eventbrite will ask for a donation each time.
