Young at Heart Playgroup will be hosting Connect and Grow, a free 16-week program for families living in the Capricorn Region to experience and participate in play that promotes the health and well-being of children from birth to five years this semester on Mondays from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Benevolent Living, 60 west Street, Rockhampton.This Program is funded by the Communities for Children Facilitating Partner Initiative Capricorn (the Smith Family) and federally funded by the Department of Social Services.
Connect and Grow offers participants opportunities to:
• Strengthen connections within the community and make friends.
• Experience healthy physical play and explore body movement through play.
• Explore and express their creativity and experience music and games.
• Engage in reading experiences and enjoy a fresh and nutritious morning tea.
