#YouCanAlsoBeA Producer/Songwriter Weekend Workshop SeriesROSA, in collaboration with Aarhus Lydforening (ALF), Kulturskolen Kolding, MGD Syd, Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium and Sonic College invites young creatives from across Denmark to participate in a series of weekend workshops focused on music production and songwriting. This project is designed to support skill-building, foster networking opportunities with industry professionals and share the experience. In addition to the technical knowledge shared, the project aims to increase the involvement of women and gender minorities in the Danish music industry, creating a more inclusive environment within music production.

Format:
Each workshop is a two-day workshop consisting of seminars, practical sessions, and discussions on music production and songwriting, specifically designed to equip participants with essential skills for building or advancing their careers.
Through these workshops, participants will:
➽ Meet mentors and industry professionals who will share their expertise and experiences.
➽ Gain insights into working with other creatives, including co-writing and remote collaboration tools.
➽Discuss time management, overcoming creative blocks, and establishing productive routines and habits.
➽ Transform initial ideas into polished tracks, finalize arrangements, and prepare songs for release.
➽ Work on developing a unique artistic identity that balances influences and originality.
➽ Learn how to release music independently and develop basic release strategies, including social media and branding.
➽ Dive into the distinctive, emotionally rich sound of Danish pop, studying case examples from successful producers.
➽ Receive guidance on creating a professional portfolio to attract collaborators and clients.
➽ Join discussions on the gender gap in the industry and how to create more inclusive production environments.
