About this Event
Join us for the You, Youth & Mental Health workshop exploring how to support young people and respond to signs of emerging mental health challenges in young people.
In this six hour interactive training, participants will become familiar with a youth workers’ role in supporting youth mental health while reducing stigma. In addition, participants understand the elements of trauma informed care and recognize how stress responses may manifest in youth behaviors. Participants will become confident on how to holistically support youth mental health in their programs by implementing best practices for affirming identities and fostering healing.
