Amber View aus Würzburg machen eingängigen Indierock, der ins Ohr geht. Ihre aktuelle EP Eastern Sunset überrascht mit funkigen Vibes, die vor allem durch die markanten Basslines geprägt sind, wobei die Rhythmusfraktion hier ganze Arbeit geleistet hat. Der Titeltrack ist ein perfektes Beispiel dafür, wie eine groovige Strophe mit einem energiegeladenen Refrain kombiniert werden kann, um dann am Ende in einem absoluten Rockbrett zu münden. Dragons schlägt dabei in eine ähnliche Kerbe, wohingegen die beiden Songs Change of Plan und Built to Last dem typischen Up-Beat-Rock-Sound der Band treu bleiben.
