About this Event
The first question I get when I say that I backpacked thousands of miles on the Long Trail, the Appalachian Trail, the Colorado Trail, and more, all without a stove or fire is, “what did you eat?” Well, I’d love to tell you so you too can spend more time enjoying life and less time cooking and doing dishes. Learn how to eat well, have good energy, and get adequate nutrition while on the go. Nothing fancy or created by a chef. Mostly cheap and easily available on the trail. Some weird. Some wonderful. Let’s exchange ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks while thru-hiking, ultrarunning, or any camping, traveling, picnicking, off-grid living, where you want to travel lighter and easier.
