You Can Sew This – Beginner Pattern Sewing for Adults
Join our beginner-friendly sewing class and sew your very own pajama pants using a simple, store-bought pattern (Simplicity 1563, Sizes XS–XL).
No prior sewing experience? No problem! Machines, sewing kits, and elastic are provided—you just bring your pattern and inexpensive fabric (a cotton bedsheet works perfectly).
In this class, you’ll learn practical sewing skills you can use over and over:
How to read and follow a commercial pattern
Correct fabric cutting and layout techniques
Sewing strong, professional seams
Finishing techniques for hems and elastic waistbands
These are the same skills you’ll use for t-shirts, skirts, shorts, or even more complex projects—so every new project becomes easier, faster, and more fun.
When: Fridays, starting January 20th
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
