'You Are Whole' Book Launch

Join us for the official launch of the Breast Cancer Confidence Project's You Are Whole—a powerful collection of portraits and words of hope from 26 breast cancer survivors and thrivers.

Representing Rochester, New York, and beyond—stretching across the U.S. and into Europe—these women share deeply personal stories and striking images that challenge traditional beauty standards and offer a new perspective on breast cancer awareness.

This book is meant to serve as a beacon of hope—not only for future women newly diagnosed with breast cancer, but for any woman who has experienced a life-altering event and needs a reminder that her story isn’t over. You are not defined by what happened to you. You are still whole. You are still beautiful.

This evening not only marks the release of the book but also kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We’d be honored to have you celebrate this milestone with us.

• Ribbon Wall Activity – Contribute a word of strength or love to a living art installation.
• Cover Unveiling Ceremony – A symbolic ribbon-cutting moment led by survivors.
• Keynote Address – Hear from the project’s creators about the book’s mission and impact.
