Yoshika Masuda and Taso Comanescu are acclaimed musicians with extensive international accolades. Masuda, a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and USC Thornton School of Music, has performed at prestigious festivals like Aldeburgh and Yellow Barn, and toured globally with the award-winning Rolston Quartet. He has collaborated with legendary artists such as Peter Frankl, Cho-Liang Lin, and the Kronos Quartet. A passionate advocate for contemporary music, he has premiered works by composers like Reena Esmail and Toshio Hosokawa.
Comanescu, recognized for his expressive performances, has performed in the United States, Europe, and Asia, and has headlined the Los Angeles Guitar Festival alongside virtuosos Pepe Romero and Antonio Rey. His solo albums, Epitaphios and “Renaissance | Baroque”, showcase his wide-ranging repertoire. In addition he has also performed with tenor Charles Castronovo and is a founding member of the Greek Rebetiko Trio.
