Who let the dogs out? We don’t know, but we’re sure glad they did because the annual Paws at the River event is one you and your furry sidekick don’t want to miss! This special day is designed to bring awareness to animal rescue organizations and help place adoptable pets in their “furever” homes. We’ll have a pet portrait station, delicious doggy delights, and informational booths. Riverwalk Landing will be filled with vendors selling seasonal produce; fresh baked goods; meats; fresh-cut flowers; honey; and more! You’re sure to have a doggone good time!The free, accessible Yorktown Trolley will be in operation beginning at 11 a.m. during this event.

🐾 Pet portraits behind the Freight Shed. Your pet(s) will automatically be entered into a pet costume competition on Visit Yorktown's Facebook page. The pet with the most likes by noon on Friday, October 31, will win a prize!

🐾 Animal rescue and pet organizations will be available to answer questions and hand out information.
