Weβve got a tree-rific way for you to kick off the holiday season in Yorktown -- the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony! Join us at Victory Monument at 6:30 p.m. for live music, including a performance by the Fifes and Drums of York Town, before the procession makes its way to Riverwalk Landing for the lighting of the spectacular 24-foot tower tree. Make sure you stay for a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus who will arrive on Yorktownβs first fire truck!This community tradition started back in 1945, and the York County Historical Committee works hard to keep it going!
