Event DetailsDate: Sunday, 7th September
Time: 10:00 am
Location: Almscliff Crag
The crag has a range of climbs, from easy-angled slabs to steep, challenging cracks and bold routes. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or new to outdoor climbing, there’s something for everyone. This meet is a great chance to tick some classic routes, try a new style of climbing, or just enjoy a social day out with fellow club members.
Almscliff’s elevated position means it often catches the wind, helping to keep the rock dry and in prime condition. Plus, the views across the Washburn Valley are stunning, offering a picturesque backdrop for a great day of climbing.
Almscliff is a rite of passage for any UK climber. It’s affectionately known as ‘The Cliff’ and for good reason—it’s a truly spectacular crag with a huge concentration of quality problems and routes.
