Join us at the theatre and help us celebrate our 89th birthday! As with all good birthdays there will be cake and other sweet treats to enjoy along with drinks and games to try your luck at too. A children’s trail will let you explore new areas of the theatre and materials from our archive will be available to view so you can learn more about us from over the last 89 years.
Use our photobooth to take fun photos with your friends and family and get ahead for Christmas with our selection of Christmas items and gifts available for sale too.
Father Christmas is even coming, spreading Christmas cheer and joy so keep an eye on the mince pies!
And as we’re York’s chocolate theatre, there will be a chocolate theme running through many of our activities and sweet treats; so come down and drop in to see us and bring your friends and family.
All proceeds will go to the theatre's Heart for the Arts fundraising appeal to help ensure we can provide entertainment in York for years to come.
