About this Event
During the meeting we will explore a set of principles for commissioning and a set of principles for representation and our Assembly Representatives will provide an update following the subsequent meetings hosted by York Health and Care Collaborative.
We will also be introducing a new feature for the Assembly meetings - a Dragon's Den style pitch where we can identify ideas and different approaches to meeting our communities health and care needs, and explore partnership opportunities.
Background:
In response to the introduction of Integrated Care Systems across England in 2022, the York VCSE Assembly - Health and Care was created.
The purpose of the York VCSE Assembly is to bring the sector together to engage and connect with the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership and the NHS Integrated Care Board, in order to be involved in the design and delivery of health and care in York.
York CVS hosts the Assembly meetings and a Steering Group has been established to guide conversations and Assembly activities. The Assembly is open to all York VCSE organisations and reflects the diversity of the sector in terms of size, themes and geographic areas of delivery.
You can view all the past papers, presentations and feedback on our website.
Membership:
Membership is open to all VCSE organisations based and operating in the city of York or with beneficiaries in York. Become a member here.
